Change Your Mind Day 2007 -- Saturday April 28 at Fort De Soto Park Shelter #7
|
This is the annual event of all the local Buddhist groups sponsored by the Buddhist Peace Fellowship of Tampa Bay. This year was a very fun and peaceful event, with perfect weather, a pleasant breeze. We delighted to excellent Buddhist vegetarian cuisine (without garlic and onions of course). Tom Lacey drew pictures and snapped digital photos of the speakers. He also took notes and learned a lot. This event was attended by Lily, Tom and Mark from Middle Way Buddhist. Shelle would have come too but her email got blocked by meetup.com. (Sorry about technical gliches). Bee and Say also called to say they would have come if they had known about it. Sorry for that too, for not contacting everyone. This was our fault. Even though this event was listed in our newsletter, we should still have sent out emails. Nancy Kao and her husband (below front table) also attended. |
